April and Phil’s wedding took place on a sunny winter’s day in beautiful Byron Bay. Although I usually work as a wedding photographer in Cronulla, Sydney, I was more than happy to travel to such a gorgeous location!
We started off at The Byron Blisshouse where the girls were getting ready. It was a very relaxed vibe, full of family and friends. April’s outfit for the day was beautifully detailed, with a bohemian twist and paired with classic Dr. Marten boots (of course!). The boys were getting down by the river, not too far from the girls; their house was awesome for shooting as it had perfect light.
The ceremony was a five-minute walk down to the lovely Belongil Beach. Once the ceremony was over, we took a few family photos as well as some portraits of April and Phil with Byron’s iconic landscapes as a backdrop.
Once we arrived back at the reception, the glowing couple were greeted by friends and family who all laughed along at some hilarious speeches before dancing until the end of the night.
